Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
After your arrival at JKIA, you will be met and transferred to a Nairobi hotel
or your desired place for resting, dinner and overnight at panafric hotel. B/B
Day 2: Nairobi - St. Barnados
After your breakfast in Nairobi, drive to the home of orphans called St.
Barnados home located in Nairobi. Children bravely born but they have lost
their parents and others are abandoned in the streets and in the slums of
Nairobi. The Home is divided into different Houses and each house has a MOM to
take care of the children and work on a project that can keep the house
surviving. Not an easy life to take care of about 16 children every day! After
a lecture with them, continue to Nyumbani home. A place for the Aids children.
Nyumbani Home was founded to provide psychosocial care for HIV+ children. As we
well know, many mothers abandon thier babies at birth because of the Stigma of
HIV infection. Other children loose thir parents to the disease and lack anyone
to take care of them.Share a word of encouragement with them and a hope for the
future. Dinner and overnight at a Nairobi hotel.
Day 3: Nairobi - Undugu Society -
Nyumba ya Amani
After a night in Nairobi, our driver will drive us for a journey heading to
Undugu Society where the street children are rehabilitated. The Undugu society
is located in Kiambu. Share a word of love with them for the whole morning. If
possible have lunch together. Later continue to Nyumba ya Amani in Ruiru a few
kms from Kiambu town. Here you have a chance to meet the desperate orphans who
very much appreciate any one who offers them love. Later in the evening, drive
to Nairobi for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Nairobi - Thika
After your breakfast a journey towards Thika Town. Pay a visit to Thika School
for the blind and Joy town primary school in Thika for the disabled children.
You will have your lunch in one of these places. Here accommodation can be in
Blue Post Hotel in Thika.
Day 5: Thika - Kirinyaga
After your breakfast at Blue post Hotel, drive towards Kirinyaga. Here we will
pay a visit to Ngata Children's Home. This is a rehabilitated home for the
street Children. Dinner and overnight in Nairobi.
Day 6: Nairobi-Masai Mara
08:30 Hrs: depart from our Nairobi office for a journey south along the floor
of the Great Rift Valley and a stop over will be provided in order to view the
Great Rift Valley. Lunch at Narok, a small Masai Town. Arrive late afternoon in
the Masai Mara game reserve. Enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight
at the camp or Lodge.
Day 7: Masai Mara
Early morning 6.30am game drive will be provided. Return to the campsite or
lodge in time for breakfast before proceeding for another game drive. Evening
game drive will expose to you to the survival of the fittest in the jungle as
the predators try to make their kill before dusk. Dinner and overnight at Mara
Day 8: Masai Mara - Nakuru
After breakfast depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great
Rift Valley. Nakuru is known for its millions of flamingoes turning the lake
pink and thus called "the Pink Lake" and the rhino sanctuary.
Visitors have an opportunity to view the rhino, one of the most endangered
animal species in Kenya. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Sarova
Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 9: Nakuru- Samburu
Leave Nakuru after breakfast for Samburu Game reserve in the northern frontier
of Kenya. Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Lodge.
Day 10: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu with a lunch and leisure break in
the mid afternoon. The reserve is home to Rare drought resistant animals that
are peculiar to the semi- arid region north of the equator. These include the
reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra, the beisa Oryx, gerenuk and the
blue-shanked Somali ostrich. Samburu is dry most of the year but is watered by
the Ewaso Nyiro River, which rises in the Aberdare's and drains in the Lorain
Swamp north of Shaba National Reserve. Overnight and all meals at Samburu
Day 11: Samburu / Mt. Kenya
After breakfast leave Samburu, crossing the equator for Mt. Kenya (Nanyuki) arriving
in time for lunch. After lunch, visit the Mau Mau Caves (where Kenyan Freedom
Fighters could hide from the British Troops during the struggle for
Independence) Dinner and overnight at the Mountain Lodge.
Day 12: Mt. Kenya- Amboseli Via Nairobi
After breakfast, drive south via the biggest open-air market in East and
Central Africa (Karatina). Proceed to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch in one
of the restaurants. Continue to Amboseli via Kenya / Tanzania border (Namanga)
arriving in the late afternoon. An evening game viewing drive. Dinner and
overnight at Amboseli sopa Lodge.
Day 13: Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game drive in this park that lies in a dried-up lakebed.
There are swamps and springs fed by underground rivers from the melting snows
of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which give permanent water to the wildlife. The animals
seen here include Lion, Elephant, Wildebeest, Cheater, Buffalo, plains game and
the Rare Taita Weaver and the Genenuk. The animals are mainly found around the
Ol Kenya Swamp. It is here that you will have a good sight of viewing the peak
of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which forms a beautiful backdrop to the park. The
observation Hill offers a view of the entire park and beyond. There is an

Day 14: Departure
After breakfast leave Amboseli with game drive enroute for Nairobi arriving in
the afternoon. Drop off at a Nairobi hotel for overnight.
One Week Mission Trip
Day 1: Arrival at jkia Nairobi. Warm welcome by foundation of hope
founders and transfer to guest house for overnight. Review of the week ahead of
us. Thank God for the day and ask for a blessed night.
Day 2: Thank God for the Night and request Him for a wonderful
day. Breakfast and visits orphanages and children’s homes around Nairobi.
Overnight at Guest House. Thank God for the day and night ahead.
Day 3: Put the day in Jesus Hands. Breakfast and proceed to Thika.
Visit Thika School for the blind, have some time with the children and their
teachers. Donate anything we may be having for them. History and life of these
children will be narrated to us by one of the staffs. Give a word of
encouragement and love from one of our group. If possible have lunch with them.
In the afternoon, visit Thika School for the disabled. You will be astonished
by the way these children are determined to succeed in life. Give them a word
of encouragement and the history of the school will be narrated to us by the
members concerned. Overnight and meals at Blue post hotel Thika. Thank God for
the day and night ahead.
Day 4: Thank God for the day. Breakfast and short walk around the
hotel between 2 falls; Thika and Chania falls. This day we spend interacting
with Thika communities. We can visit the Kiandutu slum to give hope and
encouragement to the sick and the old in homes. Visit the sick in a Government
hospital praying with them. Visit the markets around the areas. Night at Blue
post hotel. Thank God for the day and ask for a blessed night.
Day 5 & 6: Thank God for the day. Breakfast
followed by travel to villages. Our main objective is to restore broken homes,
marriages, couples, families and if possible churches. Our 2 nights will be
home-stays. We will also visit the old people, talk to the youth and the
windowed. We may also visit orphanages if any near the villages.
Day 7: Thank God for the day. The day falls on a Sunday. So we
attend the mass at the nearby church and worship the African style. Give a
world of encouragement to the church members. Farewell lunch at one of the
home. Then transfer to Airport for your night flight home.
This trip can be extended with a safari to see the Big Five
in Kenya's National parks and game reserves for those interested.
